Everything on the Story page is one side of the counter. There was another side, and it was busier.
If you bought records at 611, DJed from a bag you filled there, worked a shift, ran up the stairs to Ovum, or just leaned on the racks on a Tuesday afternoon waiting for the imports to be priced, you have a piece of this story that we don't.
Send it. The record you still remember buying. The night, the person behind the counter, the thing somebody said. The photos in the shoebox, the flyers, the sleeve with the price sticker still on it. A paragraph is plenty; a page is welcome.
Every submission comes to us first. The ones we can verify and place, we'll feature here, and this section will grow as they arrive.
